Atlanta Journal's Big Cash
Frizes in a Free Contest.
The Atlanta Journal is conducting
one of the most interesting contests in
the history of southern newspaperdoin.
It is called the Booklover's Contest
and it is absolutely free and open to
every one residing in the states of
Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North and
South Carolina.
The first prize is fifteen hundred dollars
in gold; the second, one thousand
dollars in gold, and the third, fiye
hundred dollars in gold. Besides
these superb cash prizes, there are
more than three hundred other re
wards, any of which is well worth
working hard to get. There are piano,
player pianos, victrolas, vacuum cleaners,
kitchen outfits, dining room furniture,
diamond rings, gold watches,
pusbmobiles aluihinum kitchen sets,
refrigerators, and many other beautiful
and desirable things.
Briefly put, The Journal's big contest
is just this:
Every day there is published in The
Journal a picture representing the title
of some book. Attached to this
picture is a coupon to be filled out by
contestants with the name of the book,
the author's name, their own name
and address. When the contest Las
closed, that is, when 75 of these pictures
have been published, the contestants
will send in their pictures
and coupons and the prizes will be
awarded the successful ones.
The idea is to fit to the picture the
name of the book you think it represents.
It is a facinating game and full
of delightful interest to all the family.
Everyone can take part. It is instructive
and helpful. Thousands of people
in the states named above are
working hard to come out in the winDing
class.
To make the contest more interesting
and at the same time to be a
convenience to the contestants, the
Booklovers' Editor has issued a catalogue
containing 5,000 names of books
with their authors. All of the 751
books that are to appear in uie contest
are in the list. Thi9 reduces the
labor of the booklover9 very considerably.
The catalog is sold for 25c, or
27c by mail.
The beauty of The Journal's Booklovers'
Contest is that you don't have
to do outside work like soliciting or
asking your friends to work for you.
It is just some pleasant, interesting
work, calling only for a few minutes
of time each day, and offering a marvelous
opportunity to win a great big
prize in real money.
The contest opened March 14. Write
The Journal for full information regarding
it. Ypu can start any time.
Don't be surprised if you have an
attack of rheumatism this spring. Ju9t
rub the affected parts freely with
Chamberlain's Liniment and it will
scon disappear. Sold by All Dealers.
