Kidney Disease
Partly by driving blood from the
surface and congesting the kidneys,

It is estimated that a locomotive
with ten coaches must travel five miles
before it can attain a speed of sixty
miles an hoar. Going at that speed
the air brake will stop the train in 700
feet.
Nineteen Miles a Second
without a jar, shock or disturbance,
is the awful speed of our earth through
space. We wonder at such ease of nature's
movement, and so do those who
take Dr. King's New Life Plils. No
griping, no distress, just thorough
work that brings good health and fine
feelings. 25c at all druggists.

months, was ambushed and assassinated
on Tuesday two miies from his ^

lird, was assassinated only a few <
weeks ago. The assassins in both i
cases are unknown. The other Ellard ^
was in a buggy when fired upon and
his body fell to the ground. The

the roadside, where it had fallen.
Felix Ellard made a personal appeal
to Gov. O'Neal a few daya before he
was assassinated to take special steps
to break up the lawlessness in what is
known as "Bloody Beat 22,'* claiming
that the sheriff is unable to give relief.

Among School Patrons
In the interest of Centre School I
ask all of the patrons to make peace,
to come together and stop so much
contrariness I am a patron of the
school and, therefore, have the interest
of the children at heart as a whole.
I haye nine children to send to the
public school, and one poor little mute,
who will never get the opportunity to
go to the public school.
I have done the best I knew how
for the good of onr school, and can do
no more, it seems, and take this method
of asking the patrons, as a whole,
not in part, to make peace, be friendly,
and stop contrariness for the sake
of the children, so that they might be
raised np honest, respectable men and
women.
Onr children are to take our places
in the future and we would feel bad to
ee them do worse than we have done.
I do not ask a reply to thi9 in print,
but in the actions of our patrons.
