W H. Hendrix Replies
To Taxpayer.
To the Editor of The Dispatch:
Please allow me space for the foil-wing
reply to Taxpayer about the
Amick Ferry-S6ill Water bridge:
Mr. Taxpayer, you seem in the first
ace to be very much devoted to your
Bi le, 'though you do not follow its I
te >ehings; for he that says he is with- I
out sin is a liar and the truth is not in
| h m. You made some false statements
which you say you can prove,
a>id now I demand you do it before
your sins find y ou out. Do you remember
telling Senator Crosson, in
m , presence, if the bridge be built ?i
Still Water there would be three
creeki to bridge? Now, Mr. Taxpayer,
was that true? Where is the misrepresentation?
"Be sure your sins
will find you out."
Again, you told me on the way from
he river to Mr F. W. Shealy's farm
that it was immaterial with you where
the bridge be built?if at Still Water
it would benefit your place more than
it would at Amick's? And I told you
then that you ought not to fight Still
Water so hard? You said you were
?.<t. 4'Be sure your sins will find you
ut."
Now, Mr. Taxpayer, you forget that
a man living in a glass house ough>
not to cait stocesc Also you forget to
<*ast the mote out of your own eyo
that you might see more clearly how
io cast it out of your neighbor's eye.
Again, when I read your communication
in The Dispatch in which you
said you were tired of trashy bridge
talk and so on, and then read the one
you wrote in The. News-Advocate. I
think you misrepresented yourself
very much. You departed from that
good training your good old father
and mother gave you. You behaved
like a bad boy, and in justice to them
and yourself, 3 ou ought now to beg n
a homeward march and yet show to
your fellow-taxpayers that those good
old parents' teachings were not in
vain. "William H. Hendrix.
Gilbert, R. F. D., March 2, 1912.
There ia more Catarrh in this section
of the country than all other diseases
put together, and until the last few
years was supposed to be incurable.
For a great many years doctors pronounced
it a local disease and prescribed
local remedies, and by constantly
failing to cure with local treatment,
prononnoed it incurable. Science
has proven Catarrh to be a constitutional
disease, and therefore requires
constitutional treatment. Hall's
Catarrh Cure, manufactured by F. J.
Cheney & Co., Toledo, Ohio, is the
only Constitutional cure on the market.
It is taken internally in doses
from 10 drops to a teaspoonful. It acts
directly on the blood and mucous surfaces
of the system. They offer one
hundred dollars for any case it fails to
cure. Send for circulars and testimonials.

You judge a man not by what he

done. That is the true test. Chamberlain's
