Sunday afternoon, Ephraim Ashford
and Maurice Davis, colored, of Barrs
were married in the Court House, by
N. P. Shipp, Notary Public.
Monday, Mr. R. F. Nicholson, formerly
of Greenville, and Miss Lulia
Kelley of Chapin, were married in the
Court House by N. P. Shipp Notary
Public. The bride was charmingly
gowned n a dark traveling suit and
large picture hat. The happy couple
left immediately after the ceremony,
for their future home at Chapin.
Since the marriage license law went
into effect last July, Judge of Probate
George S. Drafts has issued ISO marriage
licenses.
