This Man Needs Hanging.
J. K. Jones, a white married man,
is under arrest in Rocky Mount, N. C.,
jharged with attacking Ethel Rice, a
13-j ear-old girl, while she was returning
home from school.
The scene of attack was remote from
any dwelling, but the girl's cries attracted
the attention of two men who
were driving b}r, and they went to
tier assistance. At their approach,
the girl's assailant fled. Jones was
in change of a gang of hands, and in a
few minutes later the child positively
identified him as her assailant, although
he stoutly maintains bis innocence.
