Kinard, a leading drug gist of Leesville, died on Saturday last and was buried in Luther Chapel cemetery on Sunday. He is surviyed by his wife and one child; two brothers, Dr. M. M. Miss Ernestine Barre, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Barre and one of the most popular young ladies of Lexington, is in flie Columbia hospital, where she underwent an operation for appendicitis on Friiay. Miss Barre was stricken suddenly on Thurs day night while on a >isifc to Miss Mary Weeks of Snmter, and her condition soon became serious. Her mother and brother, Mr. B. H.
