about the new baby's health. The lady
who was quite deaf and suffering with

cold and told him, that although she
usually had one every winter, this was
the worst she had ever had; it kept her
awako nights a good deal and at first
confined her to her bed. Then noticing
that the scribe was getting nervons,
she said she could tell by his looks
that he was going to have one just like
hers and asked him to go and sit down.
The paper was out as usual next week,
but the reporter has quit inquiring
about babies, especially when with his
