Notice, Obituaries, Etc.
The Dispatch is forced to repeat
what it has so often said before. We
cannot print cards of thanks, obituaries,
and the like FREE of charge.
We will publish, however, obituaries
of 100 words free and charge at the
rate of one-half cent a word for all
over 10C word9. Cards of thanks will
be published at the rate of one-half
V cent a word straight. Our space is
what w e make our living oat of, and
we have it to sell just the same as a
grocer sells his meat, lard, flour, sugar,
coffee, etc. Always make remittances
when sending copy. This will save
us a lot of book-keeping.

Mrs. Vansant Dead.

Mrs. Addison Vansant died at her
* home on upper Hollow creek, on Monday
sight, at 10 o'clock, after a long
ana painful illness, aged abont sixtyfive
years. The deceased is survived
by her husband only.
He* remains were laid to rest in the
cemetery at Union church yesterday

The Annual Newberry College ReUnion
will De held at little Mountain,

the minds of the people. Mr. Swearingen
pointed ont that Lexington and

special provision for their educational
