Mourners Fled When
Fanny Came to Life.
A special to the Augusta Chronicle
from Maoon, Ga., on Thursday, says:
4'Mourners gathered about the caskel
containing the body of Fanny Warren,
a negress at Eaton ton today were
thrown into panic when Fanny suddenly
came back to life. She nearly
broke through the solid covering of
the coffin and the mourners fled. An
undertaker* who wouldn't run, unscrewed
the lid and assisted Fanny
ont. She is now under the care of a
L doctor, the funeral having been posti
pbned for an indefinite period.
