Prof. W. M. Riggs, who has been
acting president of Clemson college
for some time, was unanimously elected
president at a meeting of the Board
of Trustees on Tuesday night.
It is against the State law to kill
Robins. Anyone found doing so is
liable to arrest and a fine.

Ernest Meetze.
Ernest Meetze, aged 14 years, son of
Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Meetze, died at the
home of hi9 parents in ^ower Dutch
Fork on Thursday afternoon at four
o'clock, after an illness of two weeks.
His death was caused by an abcess on
the brain.
His remains were laid to rest in St.
Andrews churchyard on Friday afternoon
at 4 o'clock, with funeral services
conducted by the Rev. W. P.
Cline.
