The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at leasf
one dieaded disease that science has
been able to cure in all its stages, and
that is Catarrh. Hall's Catarrh Cure
is the only positive cure now known to
the medical fraternity. Catarrh being
a constitutional disease, requires a constitutional
treatment. Hall's Catarrh
Cure is taken internally, acting directly
upon the blood and mucous surfaces of
the system, thereby destroying the
foundation of the disease, and giving
the patient strength by building up the
constitution and assisting nature id
doing its work. The proprietors have
so much faith in its curative powers
that they offer One Hundred Dollars
for any case that it fails to cure, Send

Infuriated Hog Kills Horse j
As the result of the mad rushes otan |
infuriated boar, the horse belonging j
to Mr Will Taylor of Aiken, had to be j
killed last week after it had been ;
fataliy gored in the side.
The affair happened at the farm of j
"Mr. W. Rot-brook, inst on the northern !
boundary of the city. On this farm, j
Mr. iiothrock has a number of high- |
class hogs, and among these is a fine J
Berkshire boar, weighing about U00 j
pounds. Yesterday they were moving I
some other hogs to the place and they j
drove a double-team into the hog yard.
The big boar in some way became infuriated
and rushed wildly about the
yard. It was driyen away several
times, but finally ran around the team
and droye one of its tusks through the
side of the horse.
The horse was disembovvled and
medical aid was summoned. After
some several hour3 work on the animal
it was seen that relief was impos
sible, and it was finally decided to kill
f
the horse to end its misery.
