Great Socialist to Speak
in Columbia.
To the Editor of The Dispatch.
Eugene V. Dob?, the famous Socialist
agitator, will speak in the opera
house in Columbia, S. C., on Friday,
the 24th day of March next, at 7 p. m.
The plan to raise funds to pay the
traveling expenses of the speaker "and J
hall rent is unique. A subscription
card that will admit the holder to hear
the speech will also entitle him 01* her
to a 40 weeks subscription to the Appeal
to Reason, a weekly paper pullished
at Girard, Kansas, in the interest
of the working class.
