Swansea Gets Two Years.
Haskell Banks, better known as Swansea,
pleaded guilty to tbe chargo of
forging the name of Ed White, one of
the (areas negroes, to a $20 money or>
der, in the United States court in Colombia
last week and was sentenced
to serve a period of two years in the
federal prison at Atlanta.

W. Lee Banks, the white man who
has been in jail here for several weeks
upon the charge of shootipg his son,
Troy Banks, was released from jail
last week, bail having been granted
