Kissed His Hostess.
Because he was carried away by an
exuberance of osculutory zeal and unlawfully
inflicted the s*me upon Mrs.
Zelia Ward, of Asheville, N. 0., Jas.
Ramsey is cooling off in the city jail,
charged with insulting Mrs. Ward.
Rameev had visited the Ward home
to make a holiday call, as a fri< nd of
the family. His "coup d i lev res" was
not preceded by any warning, as he
kissed the lady suddenly, in the presence
of her two small children. Mrs.
Wardimmediatelycalled a policeman,
who took Ramsey in charge.
Even in Honan, distant only two

KEEP THE KIDNEYS WELL.
Health is "Worth Saving, andj
Some Lexington People Know
How to Save It.
Many Lexington peopie take their
lives in their hands by neglecting the
kidneys when they know these organs
nefcd help. Sick kidneys are respr nsible
for a vast amount of suffering and
ill health, but there is no need to suffer
nor to remain in danger when all
diseases and aches and pains due to
weak kidneys can be quickly and permanently
cured bv the use of Doan's
Kidney Piils. Here is a Lexington
citizen'8 recommendation.
Mrs. Lena Amick, of Lexington, S.
C., says: "I can say that I have found
Doan's Kidney Pills to be a very good
kidney remedy. I suffered a great eal
from kidney complaint and although
I used a number of remedies, I did not
receive much relief. Not Jong ago I
! heard about Doan's Kidney Pills and
| procured a box at the Kaufmann Drug
Co. Since using them I am feeling
: better than I have in a long time.
! The pains in my back have lessened
and the kidney secretions are becoming
natural. I am glad to recommend
Doan's Kidney Pills to other persons
in return for the benefit I have obtained
from their use."
