OBITUARY.
Alice Caroline Weed was born Aug.
6, 1858, and died Oct. 13, 1910, aged 52
years, 2 months and 7 days. In the
voar 1.QQ1 shp was marripd to Warrpn
Columbus Weed. To them were born
two children, one daughter and one
son, the latter preceding her to the
spirit land. She leaves to mourn her
loss her husband, one daughter, two
grand-children, two sisters, three
brothers and a host of friends.
Her remains were laid to rest at
Union Chapel Methodist church, Irmo,
where she joined at the age of twelve.
She was a devoted wife ar.d a loving
mother. She did not dread the hour
of death. A few hours before the
time came she sweetly sang Nearer
My God to Thee and Jesus Lover of
My Soul, and told all her loved ones |
to meet her in that home above.
