Chiquola Drag Co., Anderson, S C.:
Dear Sirs: In response to your inquiry,
I cheerfully state that I have
used R. L. T. in my family for several ;
years with very beneficial results. I
have personally used it recently for <
its tonic effects and have been much
benefitted. For chronic constipation,
indigestion and torpid liver, I do not
know a better remedy.

When dreams come trne, oh, lover
mine,
The dark shall melt, the distance
fade;
My happy hand held close in thine,
We two shall sit 'neath greenest ;
shade,
To list the baoble of the rills,
Breathe incense of the piny hills.
And lave u9-cleaA in limpid dew?
When dreams come true.
When dreams come true, oh, heart of
mine,
The 9ky shall break to flower of
stars,
And all day long the great sun shine,
And music spring from clashing jars.
The glass of life, in true love's hands,
Shall measure time with golden sands,
And roses breathe and bloom anew?
When dreams come true!

Home Training1 Needed. 8
It is not our purpose to cause any- ?|
one's heart to ache, or to bring humil- ?
iation or embarrassment to those who S
may feel, or who have felt, the bitter IV
pangs of discomfort along the line we fa
are about to suggest. Be it far from ?
us to utter a single word or write a B
single sentence mat wuiuu auu, m m
any wise, to the already great sorrow M
caused by unfortunate affairs. We Eg
would not, if we could, but at the |?
same time, we feel that it is appropri- g
ate on this particular occasion to call M
attention to certain conditions that B
exist all over this broad land, and to B
bring home to our people the great 1
importance of trainiug in the home J
the sons and daughters who, sooner I
or later, will fill our places, and to 1
whom the future prosperity and hap- I
piness of all the people largely de- I
pend. How often it occurs that fath- 9
ers and mothers are caused to suffer 1
by .the reckless act of a wayward son J
or a wayward daughter! Not only %
does the grief fall upon father and
mother, but upon innocent sisters and =
brothers of the same household*
Beautiful faces, gentle voices, loyely
graces and bright futures are often
blighted forever by the uncalled for I
act of some member of the family. 1
It is awful to contemplate the serious- I
ness of the situation, and there must 1
be an awakening. There must be I
better training in the home and more 1
safe-guards thrown around the youth J
of this laud. Fathers and mothers, I
raise your children up "in the nurture 1
""J f\t fho r " Ullfi J
anu auuiuuuiuu ui uuv uviuj .
when they grow up they will not de- I
part from it. |
It is a sad fact that the children of '
this day and time are permitted to
loaf the streets at all hours during the
day and night, while their parents are
striving hard to make a livelihood, so
that in the coming years they may m
leave something behind for their chil- W
dren. How many parents today are
making wonderful sacrifices in order *
to give their children an opportunity I
to make something of themselves 1
Yet, the number of parents that allow
their children to mingLe with associates
whose training at home has
not been good, is most appalling.
Teach your children to Jove home;
teach liicm to "honor thy father and
thy mvtuer, so that thy days may be
long upon the land which the Lord
thy God giveth thee;" teach them to
strive to do which is right and. to
hate that which is wrung; teach them
lobe industrious, for idleness is a
great breeder of crime; but above all
impress upon them that home is the
best and dearest place on earth.
When you have taught them these
things you will never have your children
to bring reproach, shame and
disgrace upon your fair name.
