Dispansaries "Wound-XTp.
The dispensaries in Lexington county
have been wound-up at last. State
Dispensary Auditor West came over
last Wednesday and closed up the affairs
of the county board.
Mr. West was generous in his praise
of the county board. Especially did
he commend the work of Mr. G. A.
Derrick, book-keeper of the board.
Mr. West stated that his trips here
have always been a Dleasure to him.

and that there had never been any irregularities
at all.
It i9 gratifying to the people to
know that the dispensaries in this
county have always been run in a
commendable manner and according
to law.
Capt. Mack at Work Agair.
The many friends of Capt. Mack,
superintendent of the county chaingang,
are glad to see him out again, ?
after having been confined to the bed
at his father's home, at Leesville, for ]
ten days. The chaingang is now lc? \
cated at Brookldnd, but will shortly 1
move to the Augusta road, between <
here and Leesville. t
