"AN ASHY MULE."
^ "An Army Mule," ane? serial story
by Charles Miner Thompson, began
1 in the February 10th issue of The
_ Youth's Companion of Boston. The
title of it is suggested by the blind
and reckless obstinacy of the old soldier
who is its principal character. I
C Hismulishnes9 involves him and those
about him in a succession of the most
' mystifying and distressing coinplica1
tions.
Sample copies of The Companion,
inr.lnrUnor the issue containing the
^ first installment of this extraordinary
story, will be sent upon request to any
one who mentions this paper.
