SEE SAD COLD FEET.
Are cold feet a ground for divorce?
| Because a wife i? afflicted with frigid
i pedal extremeties and persists in
warming them upon the small of her
husband's back, is he justified in putting
her oat of the room and making
her go sleep in the servant's quarters?
These and kindred questions came
up before Recorder Broyles in Atlanta
in connection with the trial of E.
T. Gibbs, a prominent coal contractor,
charged with disorderly conduct
and cruel treatment of Mr9. Gibbs.
In addition to declaring his wife's
feet were so frosty that he spent his
nights envying Cook and Peary instead
of sleeping, Gibbs said his wife
was addicted to cigarette smoking
and reading French novels. The
oharves against (Jibbs were dismissed.
La Grippe pains that pervade the entire
system, LaGrippe coughs that rack
and strain, are quickly cured by Foley's
Honey and Tar. Is mildly laxative,
safe and certain in results. Sold by all
Druggists of Lexington, Henry Drug
Store of Chapin, S. 0.
Sometimes a man's best asset is his
ignorance.
What we most ant is not always
what we most need.
Mr. E. A. Kelley, Belvidere, 111,
writes us: "I am an ex-engineer with
22 years active service to my credit.
About three years ago my kidneys
were affected so that I had to give up
my engine. First I was troubled with
severe, aching pain over the hips.
Then followed inflammation of the
bladder, and specks appeared before my
eyes. A sample of Foley's Kidney Pills
that I tried, so benefited me that I
bought more I continued to take them
until now I can safely testify they
have made me a sound and well man."
Sold by all Druggists of Lexington,
Henry Drug Store of Chapin, S. C.
Good 83rvice does not mean servility.
Dirty dollars will not cleanse politics.
President Helps Orphans,
Hundreds of orphans have been helped
by the President of the Industrial
and Orphan's Home at Macon, Ga.,
who writes: "We have used Electric
Bitters in this Institution for nine
years. It has proved a most excellent
medicine for Stomach, Liver and Kidney
troubles. We regard it as one of
the best family medicines on earth."
It invigorates all vital organs, purifies
the blood, aids digestion creates appe*
tite. To strengthen and bnild up pale,
thin, weak children or rundown people
it has no equal. Best for female complaints.
Only 50c. at Kaufmann Drug
Co, Derricks Drug Store, Sandei Drug
Store.
The First National Bank of Aiken
has opened its doors for business.
We are seldom sorry for the stinging
words we have left unsaid.
A few minutes delay in treating some
cases of croup, even the length of time
it takes to go for a doctor often proves
dangerous. The safest way is to keep
Chamberlain's Cough Remedy in the
house, and at the first indication of
croup give the child a dose. Pleasant
to take and always cures Sold by
all Druggists.
