Sail aad White Convicted.
Lonnie Hall and John White were
convicted of manslaughter in the gen- <
eral sessions court in Columbia on
Thursday for the killing of Eber Ashford
in that city last June. Hall was
sentenced to feerve 12 years in the
penitentiary and White ten years.

A detective run down and captured
a gang of outlaw negroes in Orangeburg
county last week. The robbers
