Riser will regret to learn that he has iecided to leave Newberry and make tiis home in Leesville, S. C. Dr. Riser is held in high esteem in Newberry where he has spent his entire life save when he was at college, being absent then for a few years. He is of quiet temperament, kind, and courteous in his bearing and has the qualifications to make a success of hi9 chosen profession. He i9 a young man and a graduate of Newberry college, where he took the degree of A. B. in 1895. He took, four years' course at University of Maryland in Baltimore and received the degree of M. D. there in 1908, and did one year's work in the University hospital, and he has also successfully passed the examination required by the State board, and is licensed to practice. \ For the past year or more he has had his office with Dr. W. Corley left on Friday for Richmond, Va., where he has gone to get his injured hand treated.'
