WHAT IS TRUTH.
Numerous Definitions. Ail of Them interesting.
He who does not believe in God will
be sure to look for the truth where it
cannot be found.
Truth is what the indefatigable and
righteous inquisitor finds when he
searches for panaceas.
Truth discovers law, and law discovered
is God revealed.
Truth is the path which leads to
rtnrl all rit.hpr*>a l'ntu prrnr ctrav
Truth is an irresistible force, and its
momentum is measured by its triumphs.
Truth is God's Nemf sis that incessantly
pursues error with a vengeance.
Truth is a spiritual light which hides
itself in the revelation of all other
things.
Truth is so great in magnitude and
transendentally sublime that it requires
the travail of the evolutionary
ages to give birth to the whole of it,
Enlightenment is the measure of
truth discovered and altruistically utilized
for human amelioration.
He who loves the truth will fear and
reverence its aurhor?God.
Truth is the language of love on
earth and the language of heaven.
The truth which the moral coward
withholds from ethers some day will
break his aegis of self-respect, and
moral Troy in the mrrning of her
temptation will find that the night of
her cowardice has removed her pallad
um.
Truth is the X-ray which finds the
cause of imperfection and pioneers the
way to perfection.
"Ldt mere be light" was the Infinite's
first command to the chaotic ohv
sical, and its reverberating echo strikes
the mind of all humanity from the immovable
hills of the metaphysical.
Truth teaches that he who i9 not
willing to suffer for the good of others
will be compelled to suffer unwillingly
because others are not good.
The worth of human character is
measured by the ute we make of the
truth we know.
W 11 power?the decision of character?reigns
in truth or is enslaved in
error.
In the spiritual, faith seizes an intangible
truth and turns it into a tai gibie
j act,
Tt e troth is good and good is God
in human character.
-The ignorant can not comprehend
truth in the physical and metaphys.cal,
but the wisdom and love of God
has so arranged human solidarity that
the ignorant can fee the truth in the
life of good character; therefore be
gcod, and God will make you the pa tern,
so all who see you can patent
your truth exemplified in the beauty
and utility of their lives.
Patriots, heroes and martyrs are
made immortal in their willingness to
suffer for the truth. Your intellect
and the liberty you enjoy was purchased
by somebody's suffering?r

And expect God to furnish the fire.
