Charces. 1 - ^ - _ m In spite of the attempts of the parses concerned to keep it a secret, it j learned that Mrs. Sylvia Speer 'homas was granted a verdict f divorce in the superior court of Ltlanta on Tuesday. It was last September that Miss peer, daughter of W. A. Speer, and rominent in Atlanta first-family dries, eloped with her chauffeur, Rusel J. Thomas. The parents pursued he couple, had them detained and arried off the bride of a few hours. She was spirited to New York and hence to Europe to escape the search f the husband.
