The Southern Cotton Pulp and Paper company has been chartered with a capital stock of ?175,000 and the material is on the ground for the erection of the buildings. The capacity of the plant will be 25 tons per day. About 40 tons of cotton stalks will be consumed in making a day's output. News print paper will be the principal product.
