Sheriff Miller returned from
Saluda on Thursday night, bringing
with him two white men?C. R. Adams,
aged 5S years, and Tillman Procter,
Jr., both charged with obtaining
moneyunder false pretences from one
of the banks at Batesburg. Adams
gave bond on Friday and was releas- I
ed, but Proctor is still in jail.
