Goods Found.
I have the following goods in my
possession which was found on last
Thursday night by a negro farm hand
on my place, who was induced to go
to the spot where they were found by
a neerro who stated that his name was
George Brown and that he had escaped
from the chaingang after serring
ten months. He is described as
being of a gingercake color, weight
about 175 pounds, and looked to be
about 25 or 30 years old. Following
is a list of the articles found:

1 pair mens slippers.

Lien Law Repealed.
By a vote of 24 to 12 the senate has
passed the bill providing for the repeal
of the lien law. This measure
having already passed the house, it
now requires the governor's signature
to become law.
