The general assembly has been rocking along for two weeks. The senate has been hard at work and many important measures have been disposed of by that body. The bill to increase the salary of Governor to Si.OOO and fixing the salary of other : state officials at ?2,250, has been passed by the senate. Senator Crosson voted against the measure. The prohibition fight is on. Thursdav a committee of the Anti-Saloon League, headed by some oi' the leading prohibitionists ot the State, appeared before the dispensary committee of both houses and urged the passage of a State-wide prohibition Jaw. When the bill conies up for consideration a warm fight is expected. Many new bills have been introduced in both houses and much work is ahead of the body. Notice of Dissolution of Copartnership.
