Dr. W. Price Timmerman, of Batesburg,
a wholesouled gentleman of the
highest character and a good physician,
was here on Monday.
Mr. Vandy W. Spires, one of the
best bridge builders in the country,
was in town yesterday. He reports
things quiet around Gaston.
Mr. Henry Martin, of Swansea, an
industrious and good fellow, was here
Monday, and dropped in and paid for
his paper another year.
Mr. Jos. J. Lown was in town yesterday,
on business and did not fail to
call and settle for hi9 paper. He has
always been prompt and is one of our
first subscribers.
