What Prohibition Does For j
Oconeo County, |
Oconee has had her days of open I
barrooms, of dispensaries, and she is
today enjoying herday of prohibition; |
and, while there are violators and vi- |
olations of the law, still who will say j
that we are not infinitely better off j
now than when liquor was openly and |
legally sold in our midst?
On every hand we see - the benefits j

get at the evidence to convert you to
the prohibition cause, go to the wives
and children of the men who habitually
drink liquo.% and take deep into
your souls their words. They will
melt the hardest heart and convert to
the cause of prohibition the firmest
believer in the theory that every man
has the right to do, in all things, i s
he pleases, and that to say a mill
shall not traffic in liquor is an abridgement
of his liberties; they will convince
any one that, while prohibition
does not prohibit entirely, in theory
and practice it is right.
God speed the day when the cause i
of prohibition shall prevail over this j
entire land! Then may we see and!
realize the answer of every God'y j
mother's prayer, and know more of
what true manhood and womanhood
is capable.?Walhalla Courier.
Good Cough Medicine
For Children.
The season for coughs and colds is
now at haDd and too much care cannot
be used to protect the children. A child
is much more likely to contract diptheria
or scarlet fever when he has a cold.
The quicker you cure his cold the less
the risk. Chamberlain's Cough Remedy
is the sole reliance of many mothers,
and few of those who have tried it are
willing to use any other. Mrs. F. F.
; Statelier, of Ripley. W. Ya., says: "I
have never used anything other than
Chamberlain's Cough Remedy for my
children and it has always# given good
satisfaction.'' This remedy contains no
opium or other narcotic and may be
given as confidently to a child as to an
adult. For sale by Kaufmann Drug

Mrs. McRaney's Experience.
Mrs. M. McRaney, Prentiss, Miss.,
writes: "I was confined to my bed for
three months with kidney and bladder
trouble, and was treated by two physicians
but failed to get relief. No human
tongue can tell how I suffered,
and I had given up hope of ever getting
well until I began taking Foley's

bottles I felt like a new person, and feel
it my duty to tell suffering women what
Foley's Kidney Remedy did for me."

Heart Strength
Heart Strength, or Heart Weakness, means Nerve
Strength, or Nerve Weakness?nothing more. Pos- r
itively, not one weak heart in a hundred is, in itseii,
actually diseased. It is almost always a
hidden tiny little nerve that really is all at fault. *
This obscure nerve?the Cardiac, or Heart Nerve
?simply needs, and must have, more power, more
stability, more controlling, more governing
strength. "Without that the Heart must continue
to fail, and the stomach and kidneys also have
these same controlling nerves. ,
This clearly explains why as a medicine, Dr.
Shoop's Restorative has in the past done so much
for weak and ailing Hearts. Dr. Shoop first sought
the cause of all this painful, palpitating, suffocating
heart distress. Dr. Shoop's Restorative?this
popular prescription?is alone directed to these
weak and wasting nerve centers. It builds;
itCstrengthens; it offers real, genuine heart help.
If you would have strong Hearts, strong digestion,
strengthen these Jierves ? reestablish
them as needed, with
