To the Editor cf The Dispatch:
To yon greetings and a big purse
well tilled with dollar bills as a result
of your trip with Treasurer Shealy
collecting for the paper,
j Farmers arc about through gathering
and feeling a little blue over the
results of low prices for cotton. Cotton
low, provisions high. Such experiences
are teaching them a lesson.
They sec the need of diverslllication
I and we hear some say they are not
' goinr to buy any fertilizers next year.

The public schools along It. F. P. 1

which necessitated his declining

There have been several marriages
here lately. Two daughters of our
friend, Noel Sharpe, recently married

Miss Minnie Lucas. They are spending
their honeymoon in the "Land of

By the way, I take this opportunity
to give a gentle reminder to the noble
patrons on Route 1 from here. Please
cut out some roots, till up a few holes
and trim up the trees. Now, brother
patrons, you start out in a buggy
with top or umbrellav>ver a rough,
rugged and limby road, with more
than 300 pieces of mail to deliver and
collect 011 a cold, rainy day, the roots
bumping you, the holes shaking you,
the limbs throwing water on you and
you will know how it is. Then too,
your hands are wet, benumbed and
chilled, trying to lish the everlasting
''brownies" out of the boxes.
The farmers are putting in a heavy
oat crop.
Mr. Editor, if the R. F. D. roads are
| trimmed out you may again hear from

How to Cure a Cold.
Be as careful as you can you will occasionally
take cold, and when 3-ou do,
get a medicine of known reliability, one
that has an established reputation and
that is certain to effect a quick cure.
Such a medicine is Chamberlain's Cough
Romedy. It has gained a world wide
reputafion by its remarkable cures of
this most common ailment, and can always
be depended upon. It acts on nature's
plan, relieves the lungs, aids expectoration,
opens the secretions and
aids nature in restoring the system to a
healthy condition. During the many
years in which it has been in general
use we have yet to learn of a single
case of cold or attack of the grip having
resulted in pneumonia when this remedy
was used, which shows conclusively

Somehow the ounce produces

able to digest and absorb his

not do before, and that is the
way the gain is made.
