Pclicn Happenings. To the Editor of The Dispatch: On Oct. 11, Mr. Clifton C. Huggins and Miss Eilie B. Lewis were happily married by Mr. C. R. llish. On Oct. 15 Mr. Matthew Rawls and i Miss Stella Smith were united in the ! holy bonds of wedlock by Mr. C. R. Rish. Oct. 26 Mr. J. Sidney Lewis and j Miss Allie Lewis were made man and | wife by Dr. D. R. Kneece. Our town is on a boom now. Sev- J eral new buildings are to be erected j in the near future. Mr. C. A. Mr. S. E. Berry is going to build a two-story store house on his lot. Mr. Robt. T. Zinker is going to build him a handsome dwelling at an early date. Mr. Charlie Davenport has just completed the painting of the handsome residence of Mr. D. F. Shumpert. Mr. W. M. Turner is adding a fresh coat of paint to the nice residence of Dr. D. R. Kneece. New Hope church has recently been remodeled and painted. The Rev. B. D. Wessinger will preach in the Methodist church here on the third Sunday in this month at 4 p. in. Messrs. The little child of Mr. and Mrs. Simon L.
