' ? - - i - ? nt i JUarcie L,enona Keisier, nee oneaiy, i was born September 26, 1886, and died August 17fch, 1908, making her short sojourn on earth 21 years, 10 months and 21 days. She was given to God in infancy by the holy writ of baptism and at an early age she connected herself with Nazareth E. L. church, where she remained until after her marriage when she was transferred to St. Matthews E. L. church and remained faithful until death. She was married to W. H. Keisler November 12, 1905. Her married life was only 2 years, 9 months and 5 days. She leaves two small children, the elder a son one year and ton months old and the younger a daughter 11 weeks old; a devoted husband, kind mother, two brothers and three sisters, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Hp.r remains were laid to rest in St. Matthews cemetery the following day in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing friends, the Rev. A. R. Taylor. Peace to her ashes and rest to her soul! The. operation consisted in grafting the corner from the eye of a rabbit upon the eye of the patient, who had been biind for 15 years. He is now able to count fingers at a distance of 12 inches, distinguish colors and go about unattended. The operation, though not unknown to optical surgery, has seldom proved as successful as in the present case. DeWitt's Carbolized Witch Hazel Salve is recommended as the best thing to use for piles.
