Kaufmann Drug Co. The Lexington Dispatch. Wednesday, September 9,1908. Family Reunion. August Sth was a glad day at the home of Mrs. Mary Ann Jumper. Her children with their families, together with other relatives and friends, gathered at her home to spend the day in social enjoyment. The weather was very warm, but the abundance of shade, and the fresh, sparkling water of the nearby spring, did much to lessen the depression of the heat. As the noonday hour approached the ladies busied themselves in spreading a most excellent dinner on a long table in the yard. All present?about one hundred?partook to the satisfaction of the "inner man." This was followed with lemonade and an abundance of ice cream. It was a great day for the children, and for the older ones who seemed to ft??l ncrain aa nhildren. A number of *vv* ? ? the young people furnished music. Toward evening a brief service of scripture and prayer was held and addresses made by Mr. George Lybrand and Rev. B. D. Wessinger. The day still lingers in our minds as one of the pleasant memories of the past. We all join in wishing Mrs. Jumper many days of usefulness and happiness till she is called to attend the family reunion above. Gilbert, Sept. 2. One Present. $100 Reward, $100.
