Oftes Tie Kidneys Are Weakened by Oier-Work. Unhealthy Kidneys Make Impure Blood. It used to be considered that only urinary and bladder troubles were to be f traced to the kidneys, but now modern science proves that nearly all diseases have their beginning in the disorder of these most important The kidneys filter and purif v the blood? 4 Therefore, when your kidneys are weak cr out of order, you can understand how quickly your entire body is affected and how every organ seems to fail to do its duty. If you are sick or " feel badly/' begin taking the great kidney remedy, Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root, because as soon as your kidneys are well they will help ? ?ii nrorons to health. A trial an i.uiv^ vwuvi vi. - ? t will convince anyone. j If ycu are sick you can make no mis- ! take by first doctoring your kidneys. > The mild and the extraordinary effect of Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root, the great kidney remedy, is soon realized. To the Editor of The Dispatch : The cause of prohibition is the cause of right and is sure to win. Every year it gathers strength and its prospects brightens. With steadiness of purpose and directness of aim we should go forward. South Carolina should, and would have led her sister states, Georgia and North Carolina in prohibition but for the fact that the voice of her people was stifled. Let no one today who t + ' y j -x- r oeneves mar proniDiuon is luuuueu m right shrink from any duty which it may put upon him. A good and true citizen or soldier should never shirk his duty because he feels or believes that its performance would draw the ; enemy; fire upon him. Better, far better that he should succumb to the > fire of the enemy, there to engage in the unworthy effort of dignifying f "moral cowardice" with the title of "good policy." It is never good pol- f icy to act the hypocrite. To make the tree good and its fruit good, or . make it corrupt and its fruit corrupt, is the order of the great teacher sent from heaven. The whiskey trafic makes it corrupt. The appropriation of ?15,000 by the legislature at its last session to prosecute men for conspiracy to defraud the state in this business is evidence of its being corrupt when under the best control. I would, therefore, urge every prohibitionist in the county to do his full duty in the campaign now upon us. Joab Edwards. Leesville, June 20. The Best Pills Ever Sold. "After doctoring 15 years for chronic indigestion, and spending over two bun- ^ dred dollars, nothing lias done me as much good as Dr. King's New Life Pills. I consider them the best pills ever sold," writes B. F. Ayscue, of In- w gleside, N. C. Sold under guarantee at Derrick's Drug Store and Kaufmann Drug Co. 25c. jJ a{ Candidates for State Offices. ? IV: The kicker seems to be a necessary & evil. j? True friends are neither bores nor borrowers. K Nature has provided the stomach with certain natural fluids known as ^ the digestive juices, and it is through u these juices that the food we eat is act- tj ed upon in such a way as to produce ^ the rich, red blood that flows through 0 the veins of our body and thereby makes us strong, healthy and robust, 5 and it is the weakening of these diges- _ tive juices that destroys health. It is our own fault if we destroy our own health, and yet it is so easy for anyone to put the stomach out of order.
