The Most Common Cause of
Suffering.
Rheumatism causes more pain and
suffering than any other disease, for the
reason that it is the most common of all
ills, and it is certainly gratifying to sufferers
to know that Chamberlain's Pain
Balm will afford relief, and make rest
and sleep possible. In many cases the
relief from paiu, wnicn is at nrst temporary,
has become permanent, while
in old people subject to clironic rheumatism,
often brought on by dampness
or changes in the weather, a permanent
cure cannot be expected; the relief from
pain which this liniment affords is
alone worth many times its cost. 25

Killed Sis Wife.
Fort Gaines, Ga., May 6.?Huberi
Robinson was today arrested, eharg
ed with murdering his wife and throw'
ing her body into the river. It is al
, leged that on the night of April 2{
Robinson, who had been drinking,
killed his wife, then carried her bodj
to the bridge crossing the Chattahoochee
river and threw it into the water.
Relatives of Mrs. Robinson noticed
her absence, but were told bj
R .binson that his wife had gone on a
visit to a nearby town.
An investigation by Chief of Police
Williams resulted in Robinson's arrest
today. It is said that Robinsor
made a full confession.
Bad Attack of Dysentery
Cured.
"An honored citizen of this town was
suffering from a severe attack of dysenicery.
He told a friend if he could obtain
a bottle of Chamberlain's Colic,
Cholera and Diarrhoe Remedy, he felt
confident of being cured, he having used
this remedy in the West. He was told
that I kept it in stock and lost no time
in obtaining it, and was promptly
cured," says M. J. Leach, druggist, of
Wolcott, Vt. For Bale by Kaufmans

There is a probability the merry

The trouble with most cough cures is
that they constipate. Kennedy's Laxative
Cough Syrup does not constipate,
but on the other hand its laxative principles
gently move the bowels. It is
pleasant to take and it is especially recommended
for children, as it tastes
nearly as good as maple sugar. Sold by

THE PERFECT WAY.
Scores of Lexington Citizens Have

If you suffer from backache,
There is only one way to cure it.
The perfect way is to cure the kidneys.
A bad back means sick kidneys.
Neglect it, urinary troubles follow.

W. Jb\ Ewart, Johnstone St., Xew!

such good re>ulis that 1 gave a statement
recommending them. Today I
think inst as hiohlv of them and hone
others who arc sintering irom kidney

quite awhile my kidneys were ciisordered
and caused me to suffer a
great deal irom pain across the small
of my back ana through my loins.
The kidney secretions contained a
sediment, were discolored and so frequent
In action as to oblige me to
arise several times at night. I tried
several remedies but obtained no benefit
and when I had Doan's Kidney
Pills brought to my attention by reading
of the cures that they were performing,
I purchased a box. I used
them according to directions and in a
short time my back regained its
strength and I was freed irom pain.
My kidneys were also strengthened
to a great extent and I was once
more able to control the secretions."
