That languid, lifeless feeling that

b The Restorative is a genuine tonic t(

Dr. Shoop's Restorative is actually
reaching that tired spot. The indoo:

Five Men in Courtroom.
AtTerre Haute, Ind., on Thursday
Henry F. McDonald in the circuit
court room shot and killed Detective
William E. Dwyer, seriously wounded
three other officers and a bystander,

ana was mmsen senuuoiy wuuuucu.
McDonald had been tried for dynamiting
stores and a church in Sanford
last year.
As soon as the jury reported its verdict
of guilty, McDonald jumped up,
drew a revolver and fired at Prosecuting
Attorney James A. Cooper, Jr.,
but missed because Cooper tipped his
chair over backwards. McDonald
continued firing at the officers seated
around the counsel table. Detective
Dwyer fell dead at the third shot.
Policemen and deputy sheriffs in
the court room drew revolvers and
opened fire on McDonald, who returned
the fire. Before the convicted
man fell with half a dozen bullets in
his body, he had shot Harvey V.
Jones, superintendent of police, in
the side, Deputy Sheriff Ira Wellman
in the chin, Sylvester Doyle, court
bailiff, in the leg and a bystander in
the side,

Dear Sir: Two cans of paint look
alike; two paints look alike; when
opened; two jobs look alike, so long
as they're new?unless one is scant.
They are far from alike: One is
paint and the other is trash.
The gallon price is not far from
alike. They don't cost alike. One
takes 10 gallons to paint a house; the
other takes 20. The cost of one job
is $50; the other $100?it may be $90
?the job that cost least is the good
one; wears twice as long as the other.
There are two ways of telling good
paint: By the name; by the, number
of gallons it takes for a jod?least
gallons, best paint. By the name
Devoe; by least gallons.
Yours truly,
F. W. DEVOE & CO.
