Give Up to Die
B. Spiegel, 1204 N. Virginia St., Evansrille,

jhysicians who did nie no good and 1

"You, my friend!" bellowed the

jointing his long finger at the honest

American sovereign in your own right,

answered the honest old

Don't Burn Money.
As soon as the season opens up, do
lot go out and commence to burn off
he vegetable matter on your fields
)ur soil needs humus, and it is a misake
to burn grass, corn stalks or cotcm
stalks. If you are ablp, buy a
italk cutter and cut them up, so they
vill not be in the way of the plow or
he growing crop. If you do not feel
ible to purchase a stalk cutter, take
loes or sticks and break the stalks to
)ieces. Many farmers think when
hev go out some windv day in the
pring and set fire to all the stubble

The Man With The Hen.
Tell me not in broken measures
Modern farming does not pay,
Foi a farm produces chickens,
And the hens?do they not lay?
Eggs are high and going higher,
And the price is soaring fast;
Every time we get to market,
It is higher than the last.
Not a coop but that produces,
Every day an egg or two;
So the farmer gains his hundreds,
Even though the hens be few.
Every egg is very precious,
And the hens are held in awe;
When the farmer hears one cackle,
He gives a loud "Haw; haw!"
In the broad and busy farm-yard
Struts a rooster now and then.
But the shrewd, progressive farmer.
Has eyes only for the hen.
Trust no rooster, how showv
Be the feathers in hi9 tail";
Pay attention to the biddies.
And your wealth will never fail.
Lives of farmers all remind us
We may roll in wealth some day,
If we hustle to the market
With the eggs our pullets lay.?Exchange.

Remember that when the stomach
nerves fail or weaken, dyspepsia or indigestion
must always follow. But,
strengthen these same weak inside nerves
with Dr. Shoop's Restorative, and
then see how quickly health will again
return. Weak heart and kidney nerves
can also be strengthened with the restorative,
where heart pains, palpitation
or kidney weakness is found. Don't
drug the stomach, nor stimulate the
heart or kidneys. That is wrong. Go
to the cause of these ailments. Strength
en these weak inside nerves with Dr.
Shoop's Restorative and get well. A
simple, single test will surely tell. Kauf/
