"For scrns lime I have been wantj ing to tell you of'tlie great good your wonderful Sloan's Liniment is doing here," writes Mr. JamesF. Abernthy, of Rutherford College, N. C. "In fact, all your remedies are doing noble work, but your Liniment beats all. In my eight year's experience i with medicine I find none to go ahead of it, having tried it in very many cases. I know of one young man, a brick mason, who suffered from a partial, yes, almost complete, paralysis of one arm. I got him to use your Liniment, and now he can do as much work as ever, and he sings your praise every day. I get all to use it I possibly can and know there is great virtue in it. I have helped the sale of your noble remedies about here greatly, and expect to cause many more to buy them, as I know they can't be beat." ? m ? I Tf fTnsr Bfl.Tver is Teeth.. Not long since,, we boasted that the county education board of Edgefield could beat the state on the^baby record as each of the three members of that board became the father of a child all in a week. Now come Mr. and Mrs. Ballington of Lexington with the unprecedented record of five children in one year. First there cam# triplets, three daughters: then in less than a year, twins, ; a boy and a girl. We surrender to Lexington.?Edgefield News. Petitions Pour in For Prohibition. Charleston, W. Va., Feb. 5.?The prohibition amendment still lies on the table in the senate, where its friends have placed it pending the ar rival of reinforcements in sufficient numbers to take it up and pass it. Our people remember the theft of $12,500 worth of State bonds from the State Treasurer's office by Bond Clerk Zimmerman. And now a joint resolution exempting the three State Treasurers from liability on account of the theft has been introduced in the Legislature, and has got a favorable report in the house, and it looks as if it will be passed. We rejoice very greatly at this, as it will save harmless our noble friend and fellow citizen, Ex-Treasurer W. H. Timmerman, of Batesburg. It would be an awful thing for an innocent man, in his old age?and one of Dr. Timmerman's high and generous record?to have to pay $10,000 purely for another man's defalcation.?Edgefield Chronicle. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound is now recognized as the standard remedy for woman's ills. Mrs. Bertha Muff, of 515 N.C.
