2?&nv Pastors Save To Qui1
the Pulpit to Take Up
Private Life. .
Ministers have suffered more than
anyone else from the increased cost
of living, because their salaries have
not increased even as much as the
salaries of laborers in proportion to
the price of foodstuffs.
Many of our ministers get less than
$300 per year as a salary. Now such
a salary as this for a man of God to
labor with you and for you twelve
long months is a shame and disgrace
to this country. Wake up, church
member, to a sense of your duty!
?* ?>! U/\ lAnti/1 tTononf Kooonoo
X"UljJlto Will uc iVUUU vauauv) wvbouou
no minister can live at that small salary.
I say break stones if necessary,
but do not let your family suffer.
A godly number of our so-called
church members seem to think that
1 ministers can live off of the wind,
" whether it Mows or not. If a minister
fulfills his duty he will have something
tohdo besides plow or hoe. Allow
me to say that there are some
u: ministers that could make a better
living for their family at hoeing and
plovnng thah they do preaching to
some of the unworthy people. Dear
friends, try to love your pastor better
; this incoming year than you did last
1 year and do more for him.

Cured of Blight's Disease.
Mr. Robert'O. Burke, Elnora, N. Y.,
writes: "Before I started to use Foley's
Kidney Cure I had to get np from
v twelve to twenty times a night, and I
was all bloated np with dropsy and my
eyesight was so impaired I could scarcely
see one of our family across the
room. I had given np hope of living,
when a friend recommended Foley's
Kidney Cure. One 60 cent bottle worked
wonders and before I had taken the
third bottle the dropsy had gone, as
well as all other symptoms of Blight's
disease." Derrick's Drng Store.
