"Osp" Williams Case Coatiaued
The trial of "Cap" Williams at San
Antonio, Tex., which was to have
come off last, week, has been set for
November 25th on the demand of his
attorneys for time to get up evidence.
Mrs. Sallie Gibson was in court when
the case was called and will remain
for trial as the prosecuting witness.
Loss By Firs.
Mr. Jesse Roof residing near Arthur's
Station, lost by fire Sundav
morning about 11 o'clock, his dwelling
ana its contents, including one
bale of cotton, seed wheat and peas.
Mr. Roof and family were at churoh
and the cause of the fire is a mystery.
His stables and barn were saved dv

heavy and his neighbors and friends
should assist him to rebuild.

A deplorable accident occurred at

Mr. Mose H. Mobley, Jr., of Columbia, w<
was killed by being run over by a m
