Commits Suicide after Killing His Wife
and Three Children?Domestic
Relations the Cause.

Af. W. Barton, a carpenter, shot and
ilmost instantly killed his wife, three
ihildren and himself at his home
here las night. One victim, a child

Brother Kills Sister.
AtTifton, Georgia, last week Aman3a
Crumpton, ten years old, was shot
md killed by her eight-year-old
brother.
It seems that during the fore part
nf the day Mr. -?iid Mrs. John Crumpbon
went fishing and left Amanda,
iged 10, and Archie, aged eight years,
it home, under .the care of two older
children. The older ones became engaged
shortly after their parents* departure
in some household duties and
bhe little children were for the time
forgotten. While playing about the
bouse they, got hold of Mr. Crumpbon's
shotgun and while Archie was
playing with the stock one of the
shells with which the gun was loaded
exploded, the load of shot tearing a
piece out of the little girl's side, severing
the main artery, from which
she died in a few minutes.
