friends and relatives on Tuesc
day evening at 6:30. The contracting
harties were Mr. M. Curtis Hallman
and Miss Sarah Elizabeth Still, eldest
daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Still, Rev.

White presided at the piano and ren- )
dered soft strains, of the wedding
march.
The pretty bride was beautifully attired
in a dress of white lingerie, tastefully
trimmed in Irish lace and medaHons.
The bride is a charming young woman.

"The Cat Came Back."
A few days ago Mr. Allen Bishop,
who lives eight miles from town,
brought a cat and three young kittens
to Messrs. Purcell & Scott. The
cat was brought all the way in a
wooden rabbit-box, with small air
holes bored in it. It was turned loose
in the store, with the intention that
the kittens would grow up there as
mousers. The first night the old cat
left by way of the cathole in the door
and)made straight for home, reaching
there some time during the night and
was on hand for early breakfast. It
is not known whether she enquired
the way of the other cats, or how she
knew the way; but she found it all s
