The following is the lignment of the Counties: Dispensary?Abbeville, Aiken Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Chester, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Colleton, Dorchester, Fairfield, Florence, Georgetown, Hampton, Kershaw, Laurens, Lee, Lexington, Orangeburg, Richland, Sumter. No Dispensary?Anderson, Cherokee, Darlington, Edgefield,. Greenville, Greenwood, Horry, Lancaster, Marion, Marlboro, Newberry, Oconee, j Pickens, Saluda, Spartanburg, Union, York and Williamsburg. , In Laurens there was an election upon the issue of "Dispensary" or "No Dispensary," but the election ?j At af{ii W88 questioned arm uie uauct w ouu j|), ;. Jn ?be courts, the dispensary remaining in operation pending the order of the courts.' The counties which have dispensaries Mi have their dispenaaries running again within ten days. Several of the county legislative delegations have already voted upon the members of their county boards. ; . When reopened these dispensaries will run until voted out. In prohibiI tion counties prohibition will continue. It is provided that there may be elec^ tions in Laurer.s and Edgefield in 1908, and in Darlington, Horry, Marion, ^ Newberry and Union this year. But there can be no election except upon petitions now provided by law. There is more Catarrh in this section of the country* than all other diseases put together, and until the last few years was supposed to be incurable. Wash 1 lb. of nice butter, and cream it with 1 lb. of sugar until it is very light, sift l lb, of flour twice and beat the whites and yolks of ten eggs separately. Add alternately the eggs and flour, and when mixed in, beat well until very light. One nutmeg and some grated lemon peel .seasons nicely. Abner McGhee, of Greenwood, with the surveying party of the South & Western railroad, died in Union county on Monday. He was 22 years old and graduated at the University of South Carolina. His brothers are Zach McGhee, of Washington, and S. H. and Rutledge McGhee, of Greenwood. Edward Duggan, who has been in the Aiken jail for some time, was brought to Aiken and -placed in jail today on the charge ' of burglarizing Spulin's 9tore, at MoDtmorenci, in 1902. McKinley has been serving a sentence in the Atlanta federal prison for committing postoffice robberies in other parts of the state. Duggan's sentence expired about a mouth previous to McKinley's, which ; accounts for them being brought at j different intervals. The Rotterdam mail steamer Berlin, ! from England, with 141 passengers ! and crew, was wrecked off the Hook j of Holland, at the entrance of the j River Maas, leading to Rotterdam, I shortly before 6 o'clock Thursday | morning, and with one exception, -all j on board were drowned. ; j ?
