A Home Made Happy by Chamberlain's Cough Remedy About two months ago our baby girl had measels which settled on her lungs and at last resulted in a severe attact of bronchitis. We had two doctors but no relief was obtained. Everybody thought she would die. I went to eight different stores to find a certain remedy which had been recommended to me and I failed to get it, when one of the storekeepers insisted that I try Chamberlain's Cough Remedy. I did so and our baby is alive and well today.?Geo, W. Spence, Holly Springs, N.O. For sale by Raufmann Drug Co. * * Stole Street Car. East Liverpool, O., Dec. 6.?The police are looking for a stranger wto stole a street car late last night, ran it four miles and collected fare from all patseagers, and then decamped. Conductor Deitz was at a pump gettinjr a drink, when the thief stepped aboard and gave the starting signal. The fellow managed the business so well that the motorman, curtained in on account of the rain, suspected nothing. About Digestion. It is not the quantity of food taken but the amount digested and assimilated tliat gives strength and vitality to the system. Chamberlain's ^tomacli and Liver Tablets invigorate the stomach and liver and enable them to perform their functions. ' The result is a relish for your food, increased strength and weight, greater endurance and a clear head. For sale by the Kaufmann Drug Co. Three Wrecks in 20 Days. REYNOLD DEATH BENEFIT FOB TOBACCO EMPLOYEES Blackweli's Durham Tobacco Co. Will Pay Generous Sums to Beneficiaries of Workmen. The Blackwell's Durham Tobacco Co., manufacturers of the well known Durham Bull Tobacco, has informed its employees that it will hereafter pay a death benefit to the beneficiary of any person in its service who does not draw more than $50 a week in wages. The most important features of the plan is embodied in the following paragraph taken from the announcement; "Upon proof of the death of any person in the employment of this company who shall have been continuously in its service for at least one year preceeding hi9 or her death, and whose wages do not at that date exceed fifty dollar per week, the Blackwell's Durham Tobacco Company will donate in cash to the person previously designated by such employee the sum of money equal to the wages paid to such dead employee of this company during the last year of his or her life, not exceeding, however, in any case the sum of five hundred dollars." Mr. Fletcher, Comptroller of the Company, in an interview with a re porter recently said: "We have followei the lead of tie American Tobacco Co., in establishi lg a death benefit fund for our workmen because we believe the scheme to be a good one and worthy of adoption. In our employ are quite a number of persons who have worked for us for many years. They have rendered faithful service and by giving them this insurance we hope to make them feel that we appreciate their efforts. Among the younger employees the death benefit will be regarded as a strong inducement for them to continue from year to year in our factories. I "Of course the expense will be large, but we consider"that it will be money well invested. As there are no strings to our offer, and no fees of any kind to be paid by our employees, we cannot be accused of trying to i pose as philanthropist at their expense. The benefits will be paid without contest and without delay on proof , of death." CATARRH and Catarrhal Headaches j are quickly relieved by Nosena.
