town council Tuesday night boking
to the cleanliness of the town and to
use precautions to keep off sickness.

Back in Jail.

Our alert Sheriff ran over to Camden
yesterday and arrested snd
brought back Jim Davis, colored,
who escaped from the county chaingain
about a year ago, while Mr.
Jacob Bickley was in charge of the
gang. Jim was a trusty and had
only about one year loDger to serve
out of a five years sentence, but he
took a suit of clothing belonging to
Capt. Bickley and left for parts un1-.

Jim at Camden, and went over and
surprised him while at work in a
brick-yard, arrested him and now
Jim will serve the remainder cf his
