Take No Substitute. i Cannot Ha'al Corn Crop. * The railroad* of Kansas are unablo to furnish cars to move one-half of the corn crop. Grain men, farmers and millers appeal in vain for trains in which to snip to market the 190,000,000 bushels of this cereal. All along tne lines of the corn belt are heaps of corn waiting to be shipped. At some points temporary cribs have been built to store thi6 corn but in the great majority of -be places it has been merely piled up on the ground, and some of these piles contain as maoy as 10 000 bushels. Tnis corn has been hauled to shipping points with the idea that it was to be loaded into cars which had been ordered, but in most iDs ances the corn got there before the cate and is still waiting for them Storms might seriously damage this corn, which is exposed to the elements, and the men wbo own it are keeping tbe wires hot with messages to ibe railroads asking that their orders for cars b& filled.
