TIE LEXINGTON DISPATCH. Wednesday* January 10* 1906. a Letter From Georgia. As I grasp my pen between my fingers to write my maDy friends through the Dispatch we are having ery inclement weather. Tde farmers in this section are preparing for the coming crop. My advice to the farmer is to ptant more ?ore and lees cotton* and raise plenty of meat and live and board at the same place. Mr. Editor, my wife and I spent Xmas near Ptlioo* 8 C.* wuh my many friends and relatives and enjoyed our trip to the utmost. This was my wife's first visit to South Carolina. We arrived in Pelion Friday afternoon about 8 o'clock and waa met at the station by Mr. J. H. Laird. We traveled toe dirt road about three miles and were soon in s comfortable home. Mr. J. H. Laird is one of Lexington's most mmaftAvnm on/1 indiiRirinna farmers. We went over to Antioch cbnrob on Bonday end the Rev. J. M. McGill delivered a good sermon. From there we went to the home of Mr. H. L Laird, who is another induetroa8 farmer. We also spent some tune with Mr. M. F. Laird, another good man of that section. Monday afternoon we took in the Christmas tree at Peiimi. The school house was crowded and the tree was r,weU filled with beautiful presents. A song was sang and a prayer and short address were delivered by Rev. ' L. 8. Shealy. The presents were handed ont by Dr. D. R. Kneece. We left Felion December 27, and arrived at Halqyondale, Bulloch eoQoty, Ga? on the 28tb. We are sow feasting on game of all kindjand sopping Georgia syrup. There is only one way to care deafness, and that is by constitutional remedies. Deafness is earned by an inllimed condition of the mucous lining of the Eustachian Tube. When this tube is inflamed yon have a rambling sound or imperfect hearing, and when it is entirely closed. Deafness is the result, and unless the inflammation can be taken out and this tube restored to its normal condition, hearing will be destroyed forever; nine cases oot of ten are caused by Catarrh, which is nothing but an ih-flamed condition of the mucous surfaces.
