a cure is obtained quickest by a proper
treatment of the kidneys. If you are feeling
badly you can make no mistake by
taking Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root, the
great kidney, liver and bladder remedy,
v It corrects inability to hold urine and
scalding pain in passing it, and overcomes
that unpleasant necessity of being
compelled to go often through' the day,
and to get up many times during the
night. The mild and the extraordinary
effect of Swamp-Root is soon realized.
It stands the highest for its wonderful
cures of the most distressing cases.
Swamp-Root is pleasant to take and is
sold by all druggists in fifty-cent and
one-dollar size bottles. You may have a
sample bottle of this wonderful new discovery
and a book that tells all about it,
-? both sent free by mail. Address, Dr. Kilfner

writing mention reading this generous
offer in this paper. Don't make any
mistake, but remember the name, SwampRoot,
Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root, and the
address, Binghamton, N. Y., on every
bottle. *

Clemson Gees Down in Defeat.
Atlanta, Ga., November 30?In a
bard fought game from start to finish
Georgia Tech defeated Clemson college
of Clemeon, S C, on Tech field
here this afternoon by a score of 17
t) 10. With the exception of one 45
yard run and a touch down by means
of a tackle over tackle formation by
Clemson the game was devoid of sensational
features. The[Georgians kept
the bail in Clemson's territory most of
the time. Tech made her first touchdown
by means of a straight line
bucking and end rues. Clemson's
first touch down was the 45 yard run
of Derrick supported by Gaston, Furtick
aDd Lykes, who did not allow a
Tech man to reach the runner. A
quarterback kick won a touchdown
tor Tech and also one for Clernpon.
"Billy" Wilson, Day, Clark and Roberts
were the Tech stars. Derrick,
Furtick, Dickson and Mclver played
brilliantly for Clemson. Fully 5,000
persons, the largest crowd of the season,
witnessed the game.

_ A Bad Practice.
Several North Carolina papers are
conducting a discussion of the practice
which obtains in many municipal
courts of letting offenders go scot
free if they promise to leave community
in which they were arreBted and
tried. The practice is not to be commended.
If a man has violated the
law be should be punished, not turned
loose to go elsewhere and repeat
hie offense. Those papers which
condemn the practice have right on
their side. What would be thought
of a farmer who caught a fox in his
chicken bouee and turned it loose
there? The principle, or lack of
principle, is the same.
