Mrs. James H. Tillman, of Edgefield,
visited the family of Mr. J. J.
Fox, in this place, last Thursday.
A car load of fine Kentucky mules
will be received by Caughman Bros.,

The Treasurer will be at Irene
next Saturday. Delinquents will

Mr. D. Lee Harman and family,

bridges over Sandy Run, Savannah
Hunt and Flaggy branch reed the
attention of the chaingang, and if
the holes in Huckabaa swamp on the
State road were attended to at once
it would save at least 50 per cent to
the county.
Abraham Heflin, colored, of Barrs,
has been committed to jail on a warrant
of Constable Boland, charged
with violation of dispensary law. Mr.
Boland got four quarts of whiskey
out of his bouse and eleven half pints
out of his bed, after buying a bottle
from him. !
