If the child urinates toooften, if the urine scalds the flesh, or if, when the child reaches an * age when it should be able to control the jjassage, it is yet afflicted with bed-wetting, depend upon it, the cause of the difficulty is kidney trouble, and the first step should be towards the treatment of these important organs. This unpleasant trouble is due to a diseased condition of the kidneys and bladder and not to a habit as most people suppose. Disappointed expectation is probably one of the keenest emotions in the human breast. It engenders dislike second only to jealousy, if not to an equal or even a greater extent It destroys interest in work that might otherwise not only be maintained but developed to great advantage. Too many men and women are prone to evade determining matters present by boldiDg out hopes snd expectations for the future, sometimes with snd sometimes without any intention of fulfillment. To stimulate false hopes means future trouble on the oDe side and dis - * i . it.. _l! appointed expectation on tne ocuer. It is an evil and efcould be avoided. On the other band, one of the weaknesses of humanity is to to interpret the most casual promise of consideration to be a promise of something tangible, and to build false hopes without foundation. This weakness is an evil as much as that of encouraging expectation. la Time of Peace. In the first months of the Russia-Japan war we had a striking example of the necessity for preparation and the early advantage of those who, so to speak, j have shingled their roofs in dry weathI er." The virtue of preparation has ! made history and given to us our great| est men. The individual as well as the | nation should be prepared for any emergency. Are you prepared to successfully combat the first cold you take? A cold can be cured much more quickly when treated as soon as it has been contracted and before it has become settled in the I system. Chamberlain's Cough Remedy is famous for the cure of colds and it should be kept at hand ready for instant use. For sale by the Kaufmann Drug Co. vaw?mivva?c| waw vmvwivv Anderson Intelligencer. Precipitate haste invariable causes slumps and fluctuations. If tbe Southern farmers can solve tbe problem of properly marketing their principal product, they will give strength and firmness to the market and keep prices at a more uniform level. The warehouse system enables farmers to work in ' unison for & common end, and with its extension and enlargement will doubless come a better and more satisfactory method of selling and marketing to the beet advantage. Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound is the world's greatest remedy for women at this trying period, and may be relied upon to overcome all distressing symptoms - and carry them safely through to a healthy and happy old age. Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound invigorates and strengthens the female organism, and builds up the weakened nervous system as no other medicine can. Mrs. A. E. G. Mv womb was badly swollen. I had a good deal of soreness, dizzy spells, headaches, and was very nervous. I wrote you for advice and commenced treatment with Lydia E.
